Electrical panel & service upgrades
Licensed electricians serving North Texas, from Dallas and Fort Worth up to Wichita Falls.

“We had a service upgrade done in our home and had some new lights and switches installed. They worked efficiently and their services were priced very fairly. I will be using them again.”
Your electrical panel is the heart of the house. If yours is old, full, or giving you trouble, we’ll look it over and tell you straight whether it needs replacing. Sometimes it does, and sometimes a smaller fix does the job.
What we handle
- Fuse box replacement
- Breaker panel upgrades
- Meter and service upgrades
- Breaker replacement
- Whole-home surge protection
- Room to add an EV charger, hot tub, or addition
Signs it may be time for a new panel
Breakers that trip over and over, lights that dim when the AC or dryer kicks on, a panel that feels warm or buzzes, rust inside the box, or a home that still runs on fuses. Any of those is worth a look.
Some older panel brands, like Federal Pacific Stab-Lok and Zinsco, also have a reputation for breakers that may not trip when they should. If you have one, we’re happy to check it out.
We’ll tell you if you don’t need one
A new panel is a real investment, and not every problem calls for one. Sometimes a bad breaker, a loose connection, or a circuit that needs splitting up is the real fix. We’ll look it over, explain what we find, and give you your options. Then you decide.
Planning something big?
An EV charger, hot tub, room addition, or kitchen remodel can add more load than an older panel was built for. It’s smart to have your panel and service checked before you start, so there are no surprises halfway through the project.
Common questions
How long does a panel replacement take?
Most home panel swaps are done in a day. Your power will be off while we work, and we’ll let you know ahead of time how long to expect.
Do I need a permit?
Panel replacements and service upgrades usually need a permit and inspection from your city. We know what’s required and take care of it.
What size panel do I need?
It depends on your home and what you run in it. We’ll look at what you have now and what you’re planning, and size it so you have room to grow.
